Introduction and Overview

I have been a professional writer for a little over 20 years. The bulk of my writing has been in software and telecommunications. I have published adult literary fiction, edited screenplays, and written blogs.

I am very experienced with information architecture, whether it be book design or searchable websites with thousands of pages. How writing goes together and presents is as important as how well it is written.

For the last three years, I have worked only remote. If you need me in your office then there's something wrong with the way you have set up your office or workflow.

​

The collaboration tools available now, like Google Docs or GitHub, make all day collaboration more easy and comfortable than if everyone was in a boardroom. 

​

I do not mind spending a week or two on site, to make sure we get set off in the right direction, but after that, I need to work from my home office. 

​

I take any kind of writing, editing, conversion, or single sourcing assignment. I prefer to work on a job bid basis. This means you show or tell me what you need done. You show me any outlines, specifications, project plans or other source material that goes into your documents, and you tell me what outputs you want, for example, Docx, LaTex, HTML, PDF, or what have you. I give you a quote. It works out well for both parties to the agreement.
